The land of San Polino Vignards has a total extension of 35 acres predominantely cultivated with vineyards, exposure North-East/South-West, and gentle hill steep.
The San Polino vineyard for a total Ha 6.6094 is divided in three different areas at different altitude, going from 1000 ft above see level to 1300 ft above see level. The access is from the higher vineyard from which is possible to access the other two using an internal rural road.
The soil is tufaceous-clay with elevated quantities of scheleton (rocks) all of preistoric marine origin, infact is not unusual to find fossil shells when the vineyards are cultivated.
Today the total area is utilized as follows:

- vigneto a Rosso di Montalcino DOC ha 0.61.00
- bosco ceduo ha 3.31.76
The forest cannot be cut in order to plant vineyards in order to preserve the environment and to help reducing possibility of mud slides, that neveroccurred in the area. The vineyard has also an underground recovery garage utilized for tractors during the winter and a water well.
The Crociona Vineyard is served by a unpaved rural road just in front of San Polino to the Strada Provinciale Castenuvo dell’Abate-Montalcino, is complete planted with San Giovese Grosso.
